    64E-16.007Treatment

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 12, 2014, the Department of Health received a petition for Variance from Florida Administrative Code paragraphs 64E-16.007(4)(j) and 64E-16.007(2)(e), F.A.C., from Jon Bricken, Petitioner, on behalf of Bluestone Medical Inc. This rule prescribes that alternative treatment processes evaluate for effectiveness with spores of Bacillus stearothermophilus at least once each 7 days for permitted treatment facilities. The Petitioner requests a variance from the rule to allow the Petitioner to use the continuous challenge/validation testing and control systems that monitor the process.
