Notice of First Reading of Ordinance
The City of Sunrise, Florida gives notice of the first reading of a proposed ordinance governing a telecommunications company placing or maintaining telecommunications facilities in its roads or rights-of-way.
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, January 24, 2017, 5:00 p.m.
PLACE: City of Sunrise Commission Chambers, City Hall, 10770 W Oakland Park Blvd., Sunrise, FL 33351
SUBJECT: The proposed ordinance amends the Sunrise City Code provisions regulating telecommunications systems and facilities in the public rights-of-way to expressly address current industry practices with respect to installation of certain wireless telecommunications service facilities in the public rights-of-way. A copy of the proposed ordinance can be obtained by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (954)746-3333 or by visiting City Hall during regular business hours.
