40E-6.011Policy and Purpose

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 11, 2017, the South Florida Water Management District (District) received a petition for waiver from Buena Lago, LLC (Application No. 14-0424-1) for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the C-33 Canal for the installation of a private boat travel lift, multiple dock facilities, canal excavation and bank stabilization within the C-33 west right of way beginning at Hickory Tree Road and extending north approximately one (1) mile to Alligator Lake; Section 32, Township 26 South, Range 31 East, Osceola County. The petition seeks relief from subsections 40E-6.011(4) & (6), Fla. Admin. Code, which prohibit the placement of permanent & semi-permanent above-ground structures within 40 feet of top of canal bank within Works or Lands of the District.
