Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.11.3 and 2.7.4, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators for firefighters’ emergency operations and restricted door openings which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
