    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: February 5, 2019, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. CT

    PLACE: Marie K. Young Wedgewood Community Center, 6405 Wagner Road, Pensacola

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The meeting will be an open-house format. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. There will not be a presentation. FDOT is designing improvements to increase capacity within the interchange, improve service on I-10 between U.S. 29 and I-110, correct operational issues, and improve safety. Noise barrier walls and pond site locations have been determined. The proposed improvements require tree removal within the interchange and along the project limits.

    The project is funded for right-of-way acquisition in Fiscal Years 2021-22, and for construction beginning in Fiscal Year 2023.
