FAR NOTICE OF COMMISSION STAFF WORKSHOP

The FLORIDA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION announces a public workshop in Docket Nos. 20200001-EI, 20200002-EG and 20200007-EI, to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:  FEBRUARY 6, 2020, 10:00 a.m.

PLACE:  Room 105, Gerald L. Gunter Building, 2540 Shumard Oak Blvd., Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0850.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Docket No. 20200001-EI, In re: Fuel and purchased power cost recovery clause with generating performance incentive factor; Docket No. 20200002-EG, In re: Energy conservation cost recovery clause; and Docket No. 20200007-EI, In re: Environmental cost recovery clause.

The purpose of this workshop is to discuss modifications to Order No. PSC-2012-0425-PAA-EI to comply with Internal Revenue Code Treasury Regulation Section §1.167(1)-1(h)(6), specifically the methodology for calculating the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) applicable to clause-related investments.  One or more of the Commissioners of the Florida Public Service Commission may attend and participate in this meeting.  For questions, contact Commission staff, Suzanne Brownless, at [phone] or [e-mail].
