    The Northwest Florida Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIMES: January 23, 2020, 1:00 p.m., CT Governing Board Meeting; 1:05 p.m., CT Public Hearing on Consideration of Regulatory Matters; 1:10 p.m., CT Public Hearing on Consideration of Florida Forever Water Management District Work Plan

    PLACE: Jackson County Board of County Commissioners Chambers, 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida 32448

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: District business. Request for release of funds from the Water Protection and Sustainability Program Trust Fund. Consideration of five (5) amendments to the District’s total FY 2019-2020 budget. No. 1 is for $2,726,604 from the Land Acquisition Trust Fund for a Wakulla Spring septic to sewer connection project. No. 2 is for $500,000 from General Fund Balance Reserves for a hydrogeologic investigation on potential water supply sources in Gulf County. No. 3 is for $121,473 from the Arbor Day Foundation to purchase longleaf trees. No. 4 is for $38,000 from General Fund Balance Reserves to purchase hydrologic data loggers with integrated cellular telemetry. No. 5 is for cost neutral transfers. Amendments 1 through 4 increase the budget and have been approved by the Executive Office of the Governor. The 2019 Region II Regional Water Supply Plan will be presented and considered during the Governing Board meeting.
