The Board of Massage Therapy hereby gives notice:

That on August 19, 2013, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Petition for Variance or Waiver was filed by Omar A. Garcia, on July 5, 2013, seeking a waiver or variance from paragraphs 64B7-29.003(3)(a), (b), F.A.C., seeking the board’s approval for a waiver of Anatomy and Physiology requirements.. The Notice was published in Vol. 39, No. 132, of the Florida Administrative Register, on July 9, 2013. The Board, at its meeting held on July 25, 2013, voted to deny the Petition for Waiver finding that the Petitioner had not demonstrated that he had completed study in physiology and anatomy sufficient to meet the requirements of Rule 64B7-29.003, F.A.C.
