NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, Department of Business and Professional Regulation, State of Florida, has received the petition for declaratory statement from Bruce Geelhood.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of subparagraph 718.112(2)(d)2. and paragraph 718.112(2)(p) as it applies to the petitioner.
1. Whether pursuant to subparagraph 718.112(2)(d)2., Florida Statutes, the statutory limit of eight consecutive years that a board member may serve on the board includes years of service prior to the effective date of the amendment to subparagraph 718.112(2)(d)2., Florida Statutes. 2. Whether paragraph 718.112(2)(p), Florida Statutes, permits a board member to be concurrently employed by the condominium.
