    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Nursing has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Deborah C. Bueno on November 01, 2018. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition: The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 44, No. 217, of the November 6, 2018 Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner asks whether writing a Do Not Resuscitate (“DNR”) order on a hospitalized inpatient who requests that designation is within the scope of practice of an advanced practice registered nurse (“ARNP”) as defined in 464.003, F.S. The Board’s Order, filed on January 9, 2019, states that the Board finds that Petitioner due to her training, experience and filed protocol, may enter DNR orders for her patients. Therefore, the Petition is answered in the Affirmative.
