NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Nursing has received a petition for declaratory statement from Richard P. Pearson on January 11, 2017.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of 464.003(20) F.S. as it applies to the petitioner.
The Petitioner seeks a Declaratory Statement from the Board with regard to whether the intravenous or intramuscular administration of ketamine for purposes of analgesia and procedural sedation to patients in the hospital emergency department is within his scope of practice as a registered nurse as defined in 464.003(20) F.S. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
