The Department of Health School Psychology hereby gives notice: Of the issuance of an Order granting the petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on December 5, 2019, by Nicole L. Hoelz. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published on December 10, in Vol. 45, No. 238, of the Florida Administrative Register. No comments were received in response to the petition. Petitioner sought a variance or waiver from the examination score requirements of Rule 64B21-500.011, F.A.C. The Department’s Order, filed on January 16, 2020, granted the Petitioner’s request because the Petitioner demonstrated that she complied with the underlying statute requiring the school psychology testing agency to send examination scores directly to the Department by having the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), the national certification entity which originally received her examination score directly from the testing agency, send the examination score directly to the Department.
