NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 11, 2024, the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, received a petition for variance and waiver submitted by Marilyn Evans. The Petitioner requests a waiver and variance of paragraph 64B4-3.003(2)(b), F.A.C., which states that the requirement for examination for Mental Health Counselors shall be the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE), clinical simulation examination developed by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), or for licensure by endorsement the National and Certification Examination (NCE) if the exam was taken prior to the year 2000.
