    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

    PLACE: University of Central Florida (UCF) Rosen College of Hospitality Management, 9907 Universal Boulevard, Room 124, Orlando, FL, 32819.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This public information meeting is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the Orlando South Ultimate Interchange Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study at Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) and Beachline Expressway (SR 528) in Orange County, Florida (Financial Project Identification Number 438547-1 and Efficient Transportation Decision Making (ETDM) Number 14294). The study will consider alternatives to reduce congestion and enhance mobility such as capacity improvements along Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) and the Beachline Expressway (SR 528) as well as new interchanges, modified ramps, and express lanes.

    The meeting will be an informal open house from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. There will be no formal presentation. During the open house, project information will include displays that describe the proposed improvements and an opportunity for you to provide comments. Information on the study process, study area, purpose and need, and other project information, including social, environmental and economic resources, will also be on display. Multiple alternatives for improvements to the interchange will be on display to enhance safety, address existing and future traffic needs, enhance travel time reliability, and provide long-term mobility.
