NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 13, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Lake Gibson Village. Petitioner seeks an emergency permanent variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1b, Section 2.15.9, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), F.A.C., that requires upgrading the elevators platform guards which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
