NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 23, 2015, the Department of Environmental Protection received a petition for variance or waiver from City of Pompano Beach. The petitioner requested a variance or waiver from subsection 62-610.475 (4), F.A.C., which prohibits the direct application of reuse water on edible crops that are not to be cooked, peeled or thermally processed before consumption. The Petitioner, City of Pompano Beach offices are located at 100 West Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL. The request applies to the City’s reuse system. The petition has been assigned OGC Case No. 15-1690 and File No. FLA013581. Any interested person or agency may submit written comments on the petition within 14 days after publication of this notice.
