    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to incorporate by reference update January 2006 to the Florida Medicaid Ambulatory Surgical Center Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook.     (2) All ambulatory surgical center providers enrolled in the Medicaid program must be in compliance with the Florida Medicaid Ambulatory Surgical Center Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook, January 2004, updated January 2005 and January 2006, incorporated by reference, and the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Handbook, CMS-1500, which is incorporated in Rule 59G-4.001, F.A.C. Both handbooks are available from the Medicaid fiscal agent’s website at http://floridamedicaid.acs-inc.com. Click on Provider Support, and then on Handbooks.
