NOTICE OF CHANGE

Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 40, No. 13, January 21, 2014 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

The changes are in response to written comments submitted by the staff of the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee. The changes are as follows:

Section (4) shall read as follows:

(4) The American Society of Landscape Architects, the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Florida Department of Transportation, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and state universities, colleges, and community colleges in Florida will be considered approved providers and all courses submitted will be pre-approved until final course approval by the Department or the Board. The provider as well as all courses must be assigned provider and course numbers for attendees to be eligible to receive credit. Providers must meet all reporting requirements set forth in Section 455.2178, F.S., and courses must meet criteria set forth in rule 61G10-18.006(5). Providers must submit provider application #BET 1 to be assigned a provider number and course application #BET 2 to be assigned a course number and to receive course approval. Supporting documentation is not required; however, all other requirements must be met. Advanced instruction in the Florida Building Code curriculum must be established or accreditated by the Florida Building Commission.
