NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 18, 2013, the Office of Insurance Regulation received a petition for amending and extending the order granting a variance from Rule 69O-125.003, Florida Administrative Code, from Monumental Life Insurance Company (“Monumental”). Rule 69O-125.003, Florida Administrative Code, prohibits insurance providers from making past lawful foreign travel. Monumental is seeking permission to consider travel to Iraq and Afghanistan in its underwriting of Insurance applicants.
