FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
CITY OF HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Hollywood’s project involving the construction of two new deep injection wells, a dual zone monitoring well, a pump station with wet well, 1,850 linear feet of 24 and 48 inch diameter piping, and associated appurtenances is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $80 million. The project may qualify for a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan comprised of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
