    The Florida Department of Transportation District Two announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: January 29, 2020, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Town Hall Building, 706 NE Cholokka Boulevard, Micanopy, Florida 32667

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to a public hearing to discuss a proposed median modification on State Road 25/U.S. 441. We will present the recommended improvements at the above referenced public hearing. The Department of Transportation proposes to close a full median opening along U.S. 441 as part of a traffic signal project. These improvements are part of a larger project that will resurface the pavement of U.S. 441 and make operational and safety improvements between Alachua County Line and State Road 331/Williston Road. The hearing will begin with an open house from 4 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period at 5:30 p.m. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status.
