    THE PRELIMINARY TEXT OF THE PROPOSED RULE DEVELOPMENT IS:

    9B-3.0475 Mitigation Retrofits Required.

    The 2007 Manual of Hurricane Mitigation Retrofits for Existing Site-Built Single Family Residential Structures, Version 2, as approved by the Commission on January 8, 2008, is hereby adopted by reference. The manual provides requirements for construction in addition to those contained in the Florida Building Code as adopted by Rule 9B-3.047, F.A.C., that shall be enforced as provided in the manual and as required by Section 553.844, F.S. A copy of the manual may be obtained from the Florida Building Commission’s website, www.floridabuilding.org.
