    5N-1.132Firearms Training

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: This proposed rulemaking allows a Class “G” Statewide Firearm license applicant or licensee satisfying the shooting range qualification requirement, that follows its corresponding classroom instruction, the opportunity to qualify with more than one firearm of the same type at the time of initial qualification or annual requalification. The effect will be to provide division applicants and licensees with a simplified alternative when desiring to qualify and carry additional firearms in connection with duties regulated under Chapter 493, Florida Statutes. The proposed rule will also adopt a new form and revise incorporated material.
