NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 23, 2024, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Forest Development at 211 Federal Hwy., Lake Park, FL 33403. Petitioner seeks a routine variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, 2016 Edition, Section 2.8.2.2, as adopted by 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires a no foreign equipment be placed inside the elevator shaft which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 5 days of the publication of this notice with Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2024-017).
