ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

BIDS ARE REQUESTED FROM QUALIFIED CERTIFIED/ REGISTERED CONTRACTORS BY THE FLORIDA FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF:

PROJECT NO.: FWC 05/06-77

PROJECT NAME: LAKE SEMINOLE AQUATIC ENHANCEMENT

PROJECT LOCATION: PINELLAS, FLORIDA

FOR: Work on this proposed Contract is to remove, consolidate, haul and deposit tussock/organic sediments from about 17.4 acres to an upland disposal site within 0.5 mile.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference has been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Lake Seminole Park Boat Ramp.

REQUIRED BONDS: Bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid.

After award of Contract, a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond Will be required.

The payment envelope MUST be plainly marked on the outside with the bid number. The bid package will be sent overnight upon receiving payment by the above-mentioned Purchasing Office.
