NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from Michael Heissenberg, on behalf of Expert Shutter Services, Inc. It has been assigned the number DCA10-DEC-270. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Rule 9N-3.001, F.A.C., as it applies to the petitioner.
Petitioner seeks clarification of the scope of Rule 9N-3.001, F.A.C., as it applies to Petitioner’s products. Petitioner asks that its products not be designated as “shutters” and that a new category be created for them, and that the Commission then reconsider the Petitioner’s existing product approval and approve the products for use in the HVHZ.
