NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 23, 2019, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Eagle Creek Bldg R at 740 Waterford Drive, Naples, FL. Petitioner seeks a permanent variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 2.2.2.6, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires sumps and sump pumps to be covered, secured, and level with the pit floor which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
