NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 23, 2019, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Lake Worth Towers at 1500 Lucerne Ave, Lake Worth, FL. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Sections 2.7.4 and 3.11.3 as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators with firefighters’ emergency operations and door restrictors which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
