Construction Industry Licensing Board

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order on January 10, 2020, declining to answer the petition for declaratory statement filed by David Garrett. Petitioner asks whether a Tower Specialty Contractor license permits a contractor to construct a ground storage tank, which will later contain water.

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 45, No. 177, on September 11, 2019, in the Florida Administrative Register. The Board, at its meeting held on November 15, 2019, declined to answer the Petition for Declaratory Statement, finding that the petition appears to be asking about the conduct of another person and there may be present or imminent litigation involving this issue.
