6M-8.410Voluntary Prekindergarten Program Substitute Instructors

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The proposed rule revision will amend references to rules adopted by the Department of Children and Families Additional changes are intended to increase qualifications of substitute instructors in the VPK classroom by requiring the successful completion of a course in VPK performance standards adopted under Rule 6M-8.602, F.A.C, and the reduction of the number of hours that a substitute teacher may be assigned to a classroom.
