    FAR NOTICE OF SECURITIES APPLICATION

    The Florida Public Service Commission will consider at its January 14, 2020 Agenda Conference, Docket No. 20190205-GU, Application for authorization to issue common stock, preferred stock, and secured and/or unsecured debt, and to enter into agreements for interest rate swap products, equity products and other financial derivatives in 2020, by Chesapeake Utilities Corporation.  The Company seeks PSC approval pursuant to Section 366.04, Florida Statutes, to issue, in 2020, up to 8,800,000 shares of Chesapeake common stock; up to 2,000,000 shares of Chesapeake preferred stock; up to $650,000,000 in secured and/or unsecured debt. Chesapeake also seeks approval to enter into agreements for up to $200,000,000 million in interest rate swap products, equity products and other financial derivatives, and to issue short-term obligations in an amount not to exceed $370,000,000.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, January 14, 2020. The Agenda Conference begins at 1:00 p.m., although the time at which this item will be heard cannot be determined at this time.

    PLACE: Commission Hearing Room 148, Betty Easley Conference Center, 4075 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida 32301.

    PURPOSE: To take final action in Docket No. 20190205-GU, Application for authorization to issue common stock, preferred stock, and secured and/or unsecured debt, and to enter into agreements for interest rate swap products, equity products and other financial derivatives in 2020, by Chesapeake Utilities Corporation.
