    The South Florida Water Management District announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: February 9, 2015, 9:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m., meeting for the Loxahatchee Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive Management Plan Working Group sponsored by the Loxahatchee River Management Coordinating Council

    PLACE: SFWMD, B-2, Caloosahatchee Conference Room, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. All visitors must go to B-1 (Building 1) and sign in before gaining access to B-2 (Building 2).

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This is a public workshop to pull together government agencies and public participation to begin work on the 5-year update of the Loxahatchee River Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive Management Plan. Public discussions on the Update will include background and assessments of the outstandingly remarkable values identified within the wild and scenic corridor and the greater Loxahatchee River Watershed for the period 2010 to 2014. In addition, the document will include listings of incomplete and proposed Loxahatchee River Watershed projects for the period 2015 to 2020.

    The Loxahatchee River Comprehensive Management Plan Working Group is sponsoring a public workshop to facilitate local government agencies and public participation in the 2015 update of the Loxahatchee Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive Management Plan. The public is advised that it is possible that one or more members of the Loxahatchee River Management Coordinating Council may attend and participate in this meeting.
