NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 21, 2023, the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), received a petition for variance (Petition) from EIP IV Round Hammock, LLC, 5550 Newbury St., Ste. B, Baltimore, Maryland 21209 for Round Hammock Mitigation Bank located in Miami-Dade County, Florida (Application No. 231227-41811). The Petition seeks a variance from the requirements to substantially comply with and utilize the performance bond form, standby trust fund agreement, and trust fund agreement that are adopted and required by paragraphs 62-342.700(5)(b), (10)(b), (11)(b), and (12)(a), F.A.C. The Petition seeks to modify these financial assurance documents with documents that include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a joint beneficiary. Any interested person or other agency may submit written comments on the Petition within 14 days after publication of this notice.
