    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by City of Port St. Lucie on September 26, 2013. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

    The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 39, No. 196, of the October 8, 2013, Florida Administrative Register. The petitioner seeks a declaratory statement on Chapter 489, Florida Statutes, regarding whether Miccosukee and Seminole Tribal members are exempt from licensure when contracting with consumers off the reservation to build chickee. The Board’s Order, filed on December 26, 2013, issues a declaratory statement that Miccosukee and Seminole Tribal members must be properly licensed for building a chickee not within the boundaries of the reservation.
