Final Order No.: DEO-14-179
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued Final Order No. DEO-14-179 on December 30, 2014, in response to an application submitted by Anchorage Homeowner’s Association, Inc. for covenant revitalization under Chapter 720, Part III, Florida Statutes.
The Department determined that the application did not meet the statutory requirements for covenant revitalization because the application contained covenant amendments, enacted after the original covenants lapsed, which are more restrictive, in violation of Section 720.404(3), Florida Statutes. Accordingly, the Department’s Final Order denied the applications for covenant revitalization.
