NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Joe Valenti on August 2, 2018. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition: The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 44, No. 156, of the August 10, 2018, Florida Administrative Register. The Petitioner sought a Declaratory Statement from the Board with regard to the applicability of Rule 61G6-5.006, F.A.C., entitled, “Certification of Additional New Business Entity or Transfers.” Petitioner had inquiries, regarding a Florida licensee qualifying his/her business with another company’s license. Prior the Board meeting, Petitioner requested to withdraw his petition for declaratory statement. The Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on November 16, 2018, in Lake Mary, Florida, and the Board voted to accept the withdrawal. The Order was filed on December 20, 2018.
