The Board of Dentistry hereby gives notice: that the Notice of Disposition, published in Vol. 39, No. 189, of the September 26, 2013, issue of the Florida Administrative Register is incorrect. The correct Notice shall read:

The Board of Dentistry hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Waiver or Variance, filed on May 30, 2013, by Samantha Ledford. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 39, No. 116, of the June 14, 2013, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of paragraph 64B5-2.0135(3)(d), F.A.C., entitled “Dental Hygiene Examination”. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting, held August 23, 2013, in Orlando, Florida.

The Board’s Order, filed September 17, 2013, granted a one-time waiver extending the time to complete the Laws and Rules Examination, as the Petitioner has demonstrated the purpose of the underlying statute, Section 466.007, F.S., will be achieved or has been achieved by other means. The Board further finds that the Petitioner established that applying the requirements of the aforementioned rule to Petitioner’s circumstances would violate principles of fairness and impose substantial hardship.
