NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 23, 2019, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Bliss Condominium at 176 4th Ave NE, St Petersburg, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of Rules 2.16.4.2, 2.16.4.5, 2.16.4.6, 2.16.4.9, 2.26.2.5, and 2.14.2.2.1, ASME A17.1, 2009 edition, as adopted by 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires rated load, car doors, openings in car enclosures, power operated vertically sliding doors, emergency stop switches, and panels in enclosures which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
