GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation announces an opportunity for a public hearing.
Notice is hereby given that interested persons may request a public hearing for the renumbering of the old SR 40 alignment. The 2.9 miles of State Road 40, from Interstate 75 (SR 93) to U.S. 441/301 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida was re-aligned in the early to mid 80’s.
The proper procedure for notification was not performed at the time of the realignment and, therefore, the opportunity for a public hearing is now being offered. There are no current changes to the existing alignment, rather this notification is to correct the oversight.
