NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Southeast Volusia Hospital District (“SEVHD”) herewith requests proposals in connection with soliciting interest from parties that may wish to affiliate, associate or partner with the Bert Fish Medical Center (“BFMC”) or to whom SEVHD will sell, lease, or otherwise transfer control of BFMC (the “Transaction”).
The Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is located on the website of BFMC: http://bertfish.com/our-future/. Any modifications that occur to the RFP will be posted at this website.
The RFP contains specific submission requirements, as well as terms, conditions and other pertinent information necessary for submitting a proposal. Proposals, which meet the requirements outlined in the RFP, must be received on or before, November 20, 2012, 12:00 Noon (E.S.T.)
Please be assured that all potential strategic partners which SEVHD believes to be qualified and seriously interested will be accorded fair treatment in the submission of proposals. SEVHD intends to accomplish its stated objectives in a manner which will minimize disruption to BFMC’s business operations and will respond to a limited number of qualified participants to engage in discussions. The public website referenced above will be updated as new developments occur.
