    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 9, 2015, the Office of Financial Regulation has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Computerized Vehicle Registration on July 13, 2015. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

    The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioners business activities (to process vehicle-related transactions by interfacing with an EFS (Electronic Filing System) to electronically submit registration transactions and fees) falls within Florida’s money transmitting licensing statute Chapter 560, Florida Statutes. Final Order issued 10/9/2015 (the proposed activity as described by Petitioner is not exempt from licensure requirements of Chapter 560, F.S.; Petitioner may not proceed under its proposed course of action without applying for and obtaining licensure.
