NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 9, 2015, the Office of Financial Regulation has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Bank of the West on August 21, 2015. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner, a foreign profit corporation, would be exempt from the licensure requirements of Florida’s Installment Sales Finance Act, Chapter 520, Florida Statutes. Final Order issued 10/9/2015 (the proposed activity as described by Petitioner is exempt from licensure requirements of Chapter 520, F.S.; Petitioner may proceed under its proposed course of action.
