GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a Pinellas County Community Working Groups meeting on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sunken Gardens Meeting Room, 1825 4th Street North near downtown St. Petersburg.
At this second round of Community Working Groups, FDOT will present information about various projects and alternatives being considered. Forward Pinellas has been invited to present information about their Long Range Transportation Planning Process. We will also have a status update on the latest Regional Transit Feasibility Plan. The format will encourage dialogue to address questions and ideas. The group discussions include topics such as multi-modal transportation and evaluating infrastructure improvements in the context of a comprehensive regional transportation system. The Community Working Group is open to the public and represents a cross section within the community including individual citizens, neighborhood/HOA association representatives, civic and faith-based leaders, small business owners and business leaders, among others.
