    The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Workers’ Compensation announces a meeting of the Three-Member Panel to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, November 16, 2011, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Edwin Larson Building, Room 116, 200 East Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Three-Member Panel will meet for the following purpose: To allow input regarding those Division responsibilities that have been identified as having potential for reform (e.g., Health Care Provider and Expert Medical Advisor Certification, and Reimbursement Dispute Resolution Process); to follow-up on previous recommendations to the Legislature provided in the 2011 Three-Member Panel Biennial Report (e.g., drug repackaging and physician dispensing, the Florida Permanent Impairment Rating Guide, and Practice Parameters and Protocols); to receive an update on the status of several rules that are at various stages of the rulemaking process; and, to be updated on Division initiatives related to the recently enacted Chapter Law 2011-141 (HB 7095), sometimes referred to as the Pill Mill Bill, and expanded carrier compliance related to the explanation of bill review (EOBR). The Panel may consider an update to the uniform schedule of maximum reimbursement allowances for Ambulatory Surgical Centers.
