NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal (the “Department”), has received the petition for declaratory statement from Chief Alan R. Cominsky (the “Petitioner”) on October 6, 2015. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of the definition of state-owned buildings as it applies to the petitioner.

The Petition seeks the Department’s opinion as to whether the definition of state-owned buildings extends to buildings which are privately owned but located on property owned by the state.
