GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The meeting scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on October 17, 2018, is canceled. The meeting was scheduled for the purpose of considering the Workers’ Compensation filing made by the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc. (“NCCI”), under the provisions of Section 627.091, Florida Statutes, and subject to the provisions of Sections 627.101 and 627.111, Florida Statutes. This filing was received by the Office of Insurance Regulation (“OFFICE”), on August 27, 2018. In this filing, the NCCI requests an overall average decrease in rate levels of 13.4% for the voluntary market for all new and renewal workers’ compensation insurance policies written in the State of Florida, effective January 1, 2019. Written comments should be submitted to RateHearings@floir.com by 5:00 p.m. on October 26, 2018.
