NOTICE OF CHANGE
Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 46 No. 178, September 11, 2020 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.
The changes are in response to written comments submitted by the staff of the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee. The Board, at its meeting held on October 2, 2020, voted to make changes to the rule as follows:
64B8-13.008 Requirement for Continuing Education Course on Prescribing Controlled Substances.
(1) No change.
(2) The Board approves the controlled substance prescribing courses offered by the Florida Medical Association, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the Florida College of Emergency Physicians, Baptist Health South Florida/Quality Network, InforMed, Florida Psychiatric Society, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and MagMutual Insurance Company, for the purpose of meeting this continuing education requirement.
