    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a North and West Hillsborough County Community Working Groups meeting on Thursday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Christian Family Center, 3457 W. Kenyon Ave. Tampa, FL 33614. Located near Busch Blvd. off of Himes Avenue.

    The first half of the meeting will be presentations from the Florida Department of Transportation, Hillsborough County Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Regional Transit Feasibility Plan. The presentations can be viewed online or in-person. The second half of the meeting will be breakout sessions with FDOT and partner agencies for those who are attending in-person.     The Community Working Group is open to the public and represents a cross section within the community including individual citizens, neighborhood/HOA association representatives, civic and faith-based leaders, small business owners and business leaders, among others.     The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
