Notice is hereby given that the Board of Medicine has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Richard Ombres, M.D., on October 11, 2012. The Petitioner requests the Board’s interpretation of Section 458.3485, F.S., and whether the proposed Remote Automated Refraction Exams as outlined in the petition are appropriate with regard to the required level of supervision of the trained attendant. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting currently scheduled for November 30, 2012.
