The Board of Acupuncture hereby gives notice:

That on June 14, 2016, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance and Waiver. The Petition was filed by Craig Pollack, on May 11, 2016, seeking a permanent waiver from Rule 64B1-4.001, F.A.C., which requires the Chinese Herbology Module examination. The Notice was published in Volume 42, No. 99, of the Florida Administrative Register, on May 20, 2016. The Board reviewed the Petition as its meeting held on June 10, 2016. The Board found Petitioner has a valid active California license and that California’s examination requirements are substantially equivalent to, or more stringent, than those of this state. Petitioner’s license application was approved and the Petition for permanent waiver became moot and is dismissed.
